About The Series

The church was never meant to sit still.

Nobody in the Bay stays where they started. You moved here for a job, a degree, a shot. Your company pivots, your team reorgs, your rent moves you again. Motion is the one thing this valley understands.

So does the book of Acts. Jesus promised it from the start: "you will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth." By Acts 11 that promise is picking up speed — a new kind of church is born in Antioch, and from there the gospel starts crossing borders on purpose. Four Sundays in Acts 11–15, on a church in motion and a God who still moves first.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth."

Why this, why now

For everyone whose life won't hold still.

New city, new role, new season, new questions. If your life is in motion, Acts is your book. It was written on the road.

God moves first.

Every step forward in Acts starts with God acting before anyone has it figured out. You do not have to arrive sorted. You have to show up.

Written on the road.

Prison breaks, road trips, shipwrecks, kitchen-table churches. Acts is not a book of theory. It is what happens when ordinary people say yes and start walking.

And this Sunday, a first step of our own.

We are not just preaching a church on the move. There is one announcement, this Sunday, that we will only make face to face. Be in the room.
