About The Series

Everybody's an outsider to somebody's inner circle.

New in town. New job. New to church, or done with church, or never sure you belonged in the first place. The Bay Area is full of people who moved here for a role and never quite found a room. That feeling has a name, and Jesus kept walking straight toward it.

The first church didn't grow by staying inside the circle. In Acts 8–11 the story breaks out — into the neighborhood everyone avoided, to the movement's fiercest enemy, into the home of a Roman officer nobody thought God noticed. Over five Sundays we'll follow real, specific people God reached for on purpose, and what it means for the ones who still feel like they're on the outside looking in.
